Everything you need to know about logging in, placing orders, and getting the right discount applied to every purchase.
In our continued effort to better serve our distributors, we have launched a new dealer portal. The portal streamlines the way you log in, place orders, and access the discount tier that fits your account. This guide walks through what to expect the first time you log in, how to move around the portal, and a few new policies you should know about.
What is the dealer portal?
If you have placed orders with OVERTAKE USA in the past, your customer account is now connected to a new Company profile. The Company profile is a new layer that sits alongside your existing account. Your login is the same. Your account is the same. What is different is that you are now formally attached to your company in our system, which is what allows us to apply the right discount, the right payment options, and the right experience for your business.
One important note up front: your full order history is still saved and safe. Some older orders may not appear inside the new Company profile view, because the Company profile is a new entity that did not exist before. Do not be alarmed if your earliest orders do not show up there. We still have full access to your history on our side and can pull it any time you need.
Logging in
Logging in works the same way it always has. Visit the storefront, click the account icon, and sign in with your existing credentials. There is nothing new to remember and no migration step on your end.
Once you are signed in, you will be prompted to select one of two options before you start shopping. This is where the new experience begins.
Choosing your payment option
After login, you will see two options:

Credit Card. Choose this if you intend to pay for your orders with a credit card.

ACH. Choose this if you intend to pay for your orders via ACH bank transfer. Linking your bank account is handled easily during the checkout process.
These options are not locked in. You can switch between them at any time, and we will cover how to do that in a moment.
Once you make a selection, you will land on your order history for that option. Orders are kept separate by payment option, so the Credit Card view will show only orders paid by credit card, and the ACH view will show only orders paid by ACH.
Getting around the portal
Across the top of the page you will find a quick-access navigation bar. The three main links are:

Storefront. Takes you to the OVERTAKE USA storefront to begin building your order.

Orders. Takes you back to your order history, where you can review previous orders, check payment status, and quickly reorder parts you have purchased before.

Profile. Takes you to your Company profile page. From here you can edit your company information, add or manage payment methods for the option you are currently using (multiple bank accounts for ACH, or multiple cards for credit card), and manage the staff and permission levels for employees who have access to your company profile.
To the right of the navigation bar, you will see the current payment option you are signed in under, with a small down arrow next to it. Click the arrow to switch to the other payment option whenever you need to.
Updated discount policy
Before you start placing orders, there is one thing worth understanding about how pricing works in the new portal.
The standard discount for all Tier 2 distributors and Resellers remains 25%, with a minimum order value of $500 in parts. Orders below $500 will be discounted at 20%.
What this means in practice: the website will display 20% off list price (or 17% off list price depending on the payment option you selected). As you fill your cart, once you exceed $500 in total product value, an additional 5% discount will appear in your cart automatically. Shipping is not counted toward the $500 threshold. Only parts.
Shopping on the storefront
Clicking Storefront takes you to our main site, where you can begin selecting parts for your order. A few things worth knowing:

Pricing shown on each product page reflects the discount rate described in the discount policy section above. If your order crosses the $500 threshold, the additional 5% is applied in your shopping cart at checkout, not on the product page itself.

Inventory on each product page is updated regularly throughout the day and is essentially live. If a product shows in stock, it is in stock.

Items in stock will ship immediately. Items that show out of stock will ship separately when they become available, unless you specify otherwise at the time of order.
Checkout
Checkout looks similar regardless of which option you chose. The main difference is the payment step:

In the Credit Card lane, you will see the standard credit card payment options at checkout.

In the ACH lane, a new ACH payment flow will appear, where you can connect your bank account directly to route funds to us with no card processing fees.
For both options, you can save your payment information for future orders if you want to. Saved ACH information is securely stored and is not visible to anyone once stored, just like a saved credit card. Saving is optional. If you prefer to enter your payment details fresh each time, that works too.
A quick note on payment terms
As part of the new portal, payment by check is no longer accepted. Credit card and ACH are the two paths going forward. If you have used checks with us in the past and have questions about the transition, reach out and we will help you sort it out.
Managing your team
If your company has multiple people who place orders with OVERTAKE USA, the portal supports that. Each team member can have their own login tied to your Company profile. You can manage staff and their permission levels from the Profile section. Most dealers will not need to touch this on day one, but the option is there when you do.
