Overtake Contingency Awards are available for select categories and classes of racing at the local, regional, and national levels. Approved race series are described below. If you do not see your race series in this listing, please email and we will make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

Regional points standing wins: 1st $350, 2nd $250, 3rd $150
All competitors must be enrolled and pre-approved for the Overtake Contingency Program prior to the race event. After your first year of participating in the contingency program, to stay enrolled you must submit results for 3 races regardless of finishing position. When enrolling for the first time, you are not required to submit any previous results.
OVERTAKE PRODUCTS ONBOARD
All competitors must have a minimum of 2 Overtake products on their race vehicle to qualify for Contingency Awards. Proof of product (photo evidence, copies of invoices, etc) is required.
OVERTAKE DECAL REQUIREMENTS
Overtake decals are required for Contingency Award payment on all race vehicles. The decal options are listed below. Decals must be placed on a solid, contrasting background so they are clearly legible from a distance. Color may vary depending on race vehicle color scheme. If you are not supplying your own decals, you may order a decal kit by sending an email to help@overtakeusa.com or calling 651-645-1860.
DECAL SPECIFICATIONS
To be eligible for the Overtake Contingency Race Program, one of the below decal options must be on your race vehicle during the race:
- Option #1 Overtake Windshield Banner. Preferred logo placement.

Option #2 Overtake 22" (min.) logo either text-only or full logo on each rear fender or on each front fender. If location is already occupied, reasonable alternate positioning is acceptable.

MINIMUM # OF COMPETITORS
All payout amounts require a minimum number of competitors in the class. To be eligible for the full award amount listed, competitors must finish ahead of at least 2 other competitors in the class. Minimum class participation is measured in vehicles, not drivers. Co-driven vehicles will be counted as 1 competitor.
- If the competitor finishes ahead of just 1 other competitor the award amount is reduced by 50%
- No award is available if the competitor is the only car in the class or if they do not finish ahead of another competitor.
Only one award is allowed per car per event. Co-driven vehicles may be used, but can only claim one award.
PAYOUTS
- First Place Finish (in class): Receive $150 in Overtake Bucks
- Second Place Finish (in class): Receive $100 in Overtake Bucks
- Third Place Finish (in class): Receive $50 in Overtake Bucks
- Some racing series have multipliers for payouts. Please see the list approved racing series list above for the multipliers. An example would be: if you finish first and are eligible for 100% of the payout in Global Time Attack, you would get $750 in Overtake Bucks ($150 x 5 multiplier).
Credit will expire after 24 months if no longer enrolled in the contingency program. Credits will not expire as long as you are still enrolled in the contingency program. Credits can only be used for Overtake manufactured products, are non-transferable, and no cash value.
CLAIMING CONTINGENCY AWARD FUNDS

A separate Overtake Contingency Award Request Form must be submitted for each event award. We process contingency payments by crediting your Overtake Account. Payments are generally processed within 14 days. A current photograph(s) showing your race vehicle and the proper placement of Overtake decals must accompany the award request. Photos may be used by Overtake for marketing purposes.
When submitting a contingency request, the completed form must be accompanied by a copy of the official race results. These results MUST include the following information:
- Make and/or model of vehicles
- Driver's name, class name, driver's finishing position in class
- List of all drivers results in your class
- Event name and date, sanctioning body and track or facility name
Contingency Award request forms (along with official race results, photos) MUST be received no more than 45 days after the race event date.
