This has held up! Still looks brand new months after installation! Gives the front end a more aggressive look especially with the AFD no badge grills.
I originally reached out to Overtake because I wanted to know if their radiator brace would fit CVT WRX models. The CVT models have a transmission oil cooler in front of the radiator, unlike the manual models, so fitment was my main concern.
After test fitting the brace, I’m happy to say it fit with no issues. The clearance was more than enough, which speaks to the quality of their design. The brace looks great, the color stands out, and it gives the front end a cleaner, more aggressive look. It definitely stands apart from the basic options currently on the market.
I also love what Overtake stands for and what they are doing for the 2022+ WRX platform. Keep making products for this chassis, and I’ll keep buying them.
Overtake did a nice job with the design of this radiator brace. There are quite a few others out there for the VB WRX platform, and they all look similar. The Overtake Radiator Brace has a unique design that definitely sets it apart from the other braces currently available. I ordered the red brace for my ceramic white VB, and it pops nicely behind the grille. The brace is constructed of steel, so durability is going to be there. Installation was a breeze. Hardest part (not hard, a little time consuming) was removing/installing the front bumper. The brace itself can be installed in a few minutes after the bumper is removed.
One thing to note: I originally had the MSP A-Style carbon fiber grille installed before installed the Overtake radiator brace. If you have the MSP A-Style Grille, if will not fit unless you do some DIY cutting of the grille to make it fit properly. I have not modified my MSP grille yet, I just installed my Sport grill back on my VB so I could run the Radiator brace. Just something to keep in mind if you have the MSP A-Style Grille (or similar).

It’s hellatones, great upgrade from stock. Gives the car a great look as well as being functional. Get the bundle from Overtake, you won’t be disappointed. It took longer to take the front bumper off.
Great product. The bolt on the back sucks.If you don't have a vice remove factory horn put the bolt in the bracket and crank hard.It will loosen up the rear bolt that needs to come off.
Thanks for picking up our kit and leaving some great reviews Matthew! We agree, the bolt on the back of the Hella Horns is usually SUPER tight and can be a little bit of a pain to remove. It's something we've emailed them about, hoping they would torque them down a little less hard moving forward, hopefully they listended!

By far one of the easiest installations ever! Overtake knocked it out of the park with this one! Super simple, maybe 20-30 mins tops for the entire kit install. Perfect fit!
Installed on my 2014 Forester XT! Looks great and sounds even better the Red gives an aggressive look to the front grill perfectly easy install and great quality horns! Definitely will get someone’s attention pressing these horns 😅🤝🏼
Installed in my 22 BRZ to replace the factory horns and they are much louder even without the relay. Installed with WRX harness, close to PnP just about 18” added to wiring to get to the locations I went with.

Order this harness if your hella horns keep blowing a fuse. I had the Nobel harness installed and kept blowing a fuse due to its piggyback design. The overtake version is two cables one for each side. Super easy to install. Cable management was cleaner and the wires they use are thicker and higher quality. Highly recommended!

This is the only horn harness I could find that utilizes the oem plugs making it a “plug and play install” that can easily be reverted back to stock if need be. 10/10 recommend
Far superior to the stock sound. My only ding is the lack of options for the guard. Red really doesn’t match my style but they were easy enough to remove and paint.
Perfect bracket for horn install. I personally have a front mount intercooler and it still works just fine keeps things tucked in and safe.

While it seems everyone has these just because of the look, improving your horn is a great way to keep your Subaru from looking like it's next up for scrap. These horns are loud, and easy to install especially with the Overtake mount and wiring kits.
This is not what I had expected at all. I was thinking this was one wiring harness that attached to both the horns when in fact it is two completely individual harnesses. Each harness attaches to each OEM horn separately. Simple but great idea. Now just hide two sets of wires.
