MAXX FLO

This is certainly not the OEM version, very well made and quality looks outstanding wouldn't have expected anything less from overtake. Noticed a slight difference in the car, seems to be a little smoother. Might just buy another one as a back up.

Does this fit the 18-21 STi?

Unfortunately we discovered that the 2019-21 STI airbox has a different design so this filter will not work. The closest-fitting version is the 22-26 WRX, however it's a pretty tight fit. We're working on revising this filter to be more of an exact fit for the 19-21 STI as we speak.

I see nowhere in the info about cleaning the maxxflo air filter...
is it the same as the AEM, just wash and dry?
No oil required?

You know what Jerry, you're absolutely right, I'll add a filter cleaning instructional to our to-do list! Exactly; these units are not oiled, so it's as easy as spray with water and let dry. If it's extra-dirty, spritzing with soapy water and letting it break some of the gunk up before rinsing wouldn't be a bad move. Just make sure it's fully-dry before it goes back in!
