Hands down, better than K&N

I always liked using K&N filtersin my previous cars. So when I bought my first Subaru I knew I wanted to swap filters with K&N. Then I started doing some research about using it in my Outback. I read lots of horror stories about K&N messing with the MAF sensor so I decided to look for alternatives, that’s when I started learning about Overtake making a dry Maxxflo filter.

After installing it, my engine has the slightest bit more rumble and my car is breathing better (thought it’s not as noticeable in my stock 2.5 Outback).

I absolutely love this product and can’t wait to add more Overtake parts.

75$ for an air filter???

Yes, and it's worth it. On my 18' Forester XT I noticed a pleasant improvement in the turbo sound. With the stock intake filter I only noticed the sound of my bypass valve from a company that will not be named at >3.5k rpm. I now hear it at just under 3k and the sound is more prominent. Butt dyno says a bit more power, and better pickup at lower rev-ranges. Also helpful hint, if it feels like the filter is not fitting right with the overtake logo pointing upwards, try rotating the filter 90 degrees. Thank you to Art and Doug for helping me figure out such a big brain solution to that fitment problem I had.

Will this the 2020 STI? Description says it stops at 2018, what about 2019 to 2021?

The 19-21 VA STI's have a different sized airbox than the 15-18. We are currently in development on a solution for those. Unfortunately I do not have a solid ETA at this time when they will be available.
