The Details

The factory rubber post-MAF hose uses corrugated folds to allow flexibility during installation, but those same folds create pockets that interrupt airflow. Worse, the OEM design often creates diameter steps between the airbox outlet and turbo inlet, generating small vortexes that disturb the air right after it passes the MAF sensor. The OVERTAKE silicone hose solves both problems. The smooth interior eliminates the pockets entirely, while the tapered center section transitions cleanly between the airbox and turbo inlet diameters without creating steps. The reinforced silicone is flexible enough for easy installation but rigid enough to hold its shape under full vacuum. It's also far more durable than the factory rubber, which cracks and degrades over time. Pair it with a quality panel filter and you've optimized your factory intake without needing a full cold air intake system.
