Fantastic upgrade from OEM

Made my VB feel much better for daily driving. Almost completely eliminated the jumping and bouncing. When the car does do it, it settles much quicker than with the oem pitch mount. The drivetrain feel solid, precise and in sync now when going through gears especially 1st to 2nd. There was a slight increase in engine and transmission noise most notably being start up(cranking). You can hear the starter like crazy but it's not a big deal at all. Other than that, the engine noise while driving is only slightly more audible as is the noise from the transmission. The item itself is pretty lightweight but very rigid and install was a breeze. Only took about 10 minutes to install.
Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a massive upgrade for a small price.

Smooth Shifts, Minimal Noise – Big Upgrade

Installation was straightforward, and their YouTube video made the process super easy to follow. Right after installing, I did notice an increase in transmission noise—probably around 10–20%—but there was no added vibration or harshness, which was nice.

After about two weeks of driving, everything settled in and the noise dropped to around 5%, to the point where I barely notice it now.

The biggest improvement is how much smoother the car feels going from neutral to first gear. The shakiness is completely gone—it’s smooth like butter now. This makes a huge difference, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Skeptical, but man, was I wrong…

I was skeptical about changing the pitch stop mount in my Ascent. I didn’t think it would make a difference, but I was wrong. After changing it to the street version of the Overtake pitch stop mount, I found that the engine noise quieted down because of the lessened vibration and the Ascent seems to feel more rigid, especially when cornering. I would honestly recommend this upgrade to anyone looking for an easy, and noticeable, upgrade.

A new drug be after install

For a newbie, the install isn’t bad at all. Post installation, I noticed the engine sounded a little different, there wasn’t as much engine shift during acceleration, and overall felt like she drove like she was meant to. Definitely recommend.

This pitch stop is a great addition to any build. After install I noticed a more solid feel when starting and shifting. No more jumping from 1st to 2nd gear! Install is pretty straight forward and simple. Also there was a very slight increase in NVH, but I actually kinda like it! And as always the Overtake customer service team was extremely helpful with placing my order!

2018 Subaru Crosstrek gets new pitch stop

This pitch stop mount fits the Crosstrek perfectly. I can already feel the differences between the OEM pitch stop mount and the Overtake ones. One of the best mods for any Subaru that has a pitch stop mount.
